Studio 281 did a great job framing all our art for us when we moved into our new place. They were so patient and accommodating, and talked us through all our options for each piece to make sure we were totally happy. The finished products look amazing and are clearly very high quality workmanship. Couldn’t be happier with the customer service and the results!

Leo and the team have been framing my artwork for years and have always done an exemplary job. As someone who is always after non-standard framing, the staff are always patient and walk you through several suitable framing options. They've also been smart enough to talk me out of very many insane decisions :)Pricing is fair (better than a lot of other places) and they will work within your budget.The studio will from time to time host exhibitions which are excellent and always a good time.

Always great service and amazing results!Have had many art works framed and commissioned by Studio 281 and they always came through with the right frame for the artwork and artist for the job leading to absolutely beautiful pieces!

I took a painting in to be framed here. The owner was very helpful and helped me pick a frame which would best suit the painting and my home. When I went to pick up the painting it was a different frame from the one I had picked. I had ordered (and paid for) a double frame (one thin boarder of white and a thicker of wood). The frame they had put on was a plain wooden frame. When I questioned the worker on this he said he didn’t know what I was meant to have and that this painting had caused them issues as they put a black frame on it originally and had to remove it to put another (wrong) frame on. When at home I called and asked to speak the the owner who had said that my order was written down wrong and they had put the wrong frame on twice. He offered to give me some money back which I agreed to. He asked me to text through my bank details which is did as soon as the phone call ended. 4 weeks later I still hadn’t received any money back. I ended up having to call and text multiple times before he transferred me $40… not what I expected when I had paid over $400 for two frames and only was given one! I understand that mistakes can happened but the lack of communication and action was unprofessional and I will not be coming back here for future framing!

This is a fantastic place! So helpful with our purchase but also an amazing service hanging our new painting and framing 5 others. The frames were thoughtfully chosen and really enhance the paintings. So happy to have found this business, highly recommend!!
